366% Increase In Daily Revenues
Brief
OYM were approached by Inn Farm Dairy in 2018 for help with the setup of their online marketing with their new venture - a milk vending machine and shed. The milk vending machine would produce the freshest milk (usually within 6 hours from cow to machine) through a pasteurisation process. The milk vending machine would be housed onsite at the farm and would be available for passers by to come and purchase at their convenience, open 24/7 364 days (not Christmas night).
OYM were asked to set up socials, build their website, build a brand and help launch the product to give it a good start, add in a Click & Collect shop (during Covid-19) and more recently post on socials (Facebook, Instagram & TikTok).
Successes Include:
-
Website and all socials setup and built by OYM. Including brand and a more recent brand update.
-
Regular content posted on various platforms including Instagram, Facebook and TikTok. Strategy includes product, brand building and storytelling approach.
-
Targeted regular socials has increased the daily amounts of milk sold from the vending machine with an increase in sales for additional items (milkshakes, Ice-cream etc.)
-
Using personas, hashtags and targeting a good mix of loyal engaging audiences was built.
-
Socials allowed the farm to be selected by Radio Derby for an interview about the Milk Vending Machine.
-
Being in the BBC press, allowed a follow on from the One Show.
-
A milk community has been built that services the business over and over.
-
After 5 years, it was time to look at encapsulating the brand and givign the customer an even better experience. The upgrade included additional products but also addressed a better overall buying experience.
-
Encouraged and promoted several new additions including Milkshakes and Ice-Creams.
-
The farm have always had a loyal following on Facebook & Instagram so made sense to connect with TikTok users too.
-
A brand update was given in 2023 and additional colour palette added helping future proof the product.
-
Influencer marketing started in 2023 as we look to collaborate with local foodies and local businesses that are relevant to the farm.
